The Rolling Hills Homeowners Association is made up of 81 lots with 72 residential homesites. We are bounded on the west by the Falcon Crest subdivision and on the east and north by open space. Below is an overhead view of the development.
The Rolling Hills HOA includes 81 residential lots with some owners owning more than one parcel. Our homeowners association (HOA) has a 4-member board with periodic meetings. We have one big annual meeting of all residents in April where larger issues may be addressed and homeowners may exercise their voting power. The board meets at other posted times and members at large are encouraged to attend and voice concerns or assist in the business of the meeting.
We are located in a very convenient part of town. Schools are 10 – 12 minutes away. Access to the community recreation path is to the north of the development. Our hospital is 10 minutes away with physical therapy services within 2 minutes and there is an assisted living center adjacent to the development.
The Spearfish community is served by a volunteer fire department and our nearest fire station is only 0.8 of a mile away. The station is unmanned, but is always equipped with a fire truck and a full water tank. The benefit of having a volunteer station just around the corner allows for more peace of mind and potential reductions in home insurance costs.
A veterinary center with animal hospital is three minutes away. The community’s major shopping center is just 4 minutes away and we are 2 minutes from access to Interstate-90. Access to restaurants, gas stations and storage facilities are within a short walking distance.
